Already the world-record holder in the weighted pull-up, Ludo Adamantium has entered the history books again with 4,051 pull-ups in under 17 hours.
Villepinte – Ludo Adamantium, an iconic figure of French streetlifting, made a statement on Tuesday 20 May by taking on a monument of the sports world: the legendary pull-up record held by David Goggins. At the Fitness Park in Villepinte, he completed 4,051 pull-ups in 16 hours and 24 minutes, surpassing the 4,030 pull-ups set by the famous former American Navy SEAL.
The challenge started at 6 a.m. and ended at 10:24 p.m., well before the 17-hour limit allowed for this type of record. Notably, Ludo could have kept going – he had more than 30 minutes left to push the record even further. But he chose to stop symbolically at 4,051, a number sufficient to cement his dominance… and send a clear message: this record was not a ceiling, but a personal milestone.
Who Is Ludo Adamantium?
Ludo Adamantium has established himself as a world reference in streetlifting, a discipline that combines maximal strength with bodyweight mastery. He has built a reputation as a man of iron – « forged by coal » – both for his raw performances and his extraordinary mental toughness. He first gained wide public recognition by breaking the weighted pull-up world record with an incredible load of 120 kg at Final Rep 2023, a record he then broke again (unofficially) during the IDF regional streetlifting championships 2025 organized by the FNSL (French National Streetlifting Federation). Behind his evocative alias « Adamantium » is an uncompromising athlete driven by a constant pursuit of self-improvement. This new record confirms once more that he is not just a competitor, but a true icon of street workout.
Who Is David Goggins?
David Goggins is a legend of mental strength and extreme physical performance. A former Navy SEAL, ultramarathoner, and public speaker, he is known for his extraordinary feats and his philosophy of pushing beyond limits. In 2013, after two failed attempts caused by hand injuries, he set the Guinness World Record for the most pull-ups completed in 24 hours, with 4,030 repetitions. He accomplished this feat in 17 hours, in a New York studio, in front of cameras and the press.
This record, beyond the physical performance itself, became a symbol of resilience and self-denial. Goggins integrated it into his personal story as one of the defining moments of his career. It inspired thousands of athletes worldwide to « forge themselves in pain, » as his now-iconic phrase goes.
